SUCCESS STORIES

I just wanted to follow up with a huge thank you! I know I came up to you afterwards in an upset emotional state, you sharing your experience honestly at the Un-colonizing Climate Justice group was deeply moving. Hearing that I am not alone in the sticky experience of guilt, fear and shame was validating and helped me move past it with an open heart. It's deeply healing to hear about Indigenous sovereignty, decolonizing and the un-colonizing and decolonizing of co-conspiratorship, allyship in action. The whole weekend was healing and an awesome experience. I really hope that we can connect again in the future.

Here is a huge "Thanks!" to the CUC for creating so many uplifting national services and power-packed CUC workshops in the last 3 years. The quality is outstanding so we learn in a way that helps us share our new knowledge. More important, CUC's work inspires our Fellowship to take meaningful action to dismantle barriers to inclusion. Thanks to all CUC staff for the huge effort they make to support member congregations!

Reconnecting fills my heart with warmth, feels like the fire of commitment. I've been through an immense amount of healing, so much so that I wasn't sure it was possible over the course of this weekend. I just want to share what a great time [they] had at Canuudle. She got in the car on Monday and said that she was going to every con for the rest of time and that she was never taking her bracelet off. She felt loved and accepted from the minute she arrived till it ended. Today on the way to church she said she can still remember the joy in her heart. She was cultivating it. This from a kid who has been depressed for at least 2 years. 🎉❤️ Thank you all so much for giving of your time and energy so that [youth] could have such a transformative experience. Thank you 🙏
